| During the summer of 1998 I worked as a naval engineer assistant in
a garage and shipyards for pleassure boats of the Maritime Club of Abra,
Getxo.
Mi work consisted on helping the engine mechanic at his repairings, but I also used to participate on the assembling of new ships and the maintenance of them. The habilities I acquired from this work are: |

 Practical knowledge
about behaviour, performance, repairing and maintenance of marine engines
and ships. The work with the engines allowed me to learn a lot about
the mechanisms and parts of which consist the reciprocating engines, both
the internal combustion and the explosion ones. Also, I got used to the
processes and technics employed on the maintenance of this kind of engines.
This are very important matters to be taken in account in the design stages
of engine production. |
